Teotihuacan's Pyramid of the Sun rises 65 metres above the Valley of Mexico, built without metal tools or the wheel between 100 and 450 CE. The city once housed 125,000 inhabitants across 20 square kilometres, making it the largest pre-Columbian settlement in the Americas.
